I am thankful for a safe place to live, a beautiful country to call home, and the freedom and opportunities that being an American afford me.


Day 5:
The right to vote and the US of A


I walked out of the poll booth with a grin on my face. You would have thought I won the lottery.











I try daily to stress to my students what privileges we all have that we take for granted and every four years I so look forward to participating in democracy.
