JTemp

Dear sweet Roomie,

Day 6: I am so thankful for you!

Thank you for including me in all of your social endeavors in the big D and welcoming me with such open arms into your group of buddies.  I knew that day at La Duni when we both ordered a Cuban sandwich that this was gonna work out juuuust fine.

Thank you for listening to me talk about seven-year-old moments at the end of a long day.

Thank you for indulging in fat-kid-like tendencies with me on a weekly basis - be it Food Truck Wednesday, pumpkin flavored baking, taco-night, seven-layer bean dip at a tailgate party, or frozen pizza and wine on a weeknight.

Thank you for waiting to watch Modern Family, New Girl, and Mindy Project with me.

Thanks for letting me snuggle in your bed when the living room couch just won't quite do.

Thanks for helping me craft flirty text-messages, over-think decisions in my love-life on an hourly basis, and encouraging me to "get out there" and "rally" more often than not.

Thank you for holding me accountable when I try to budget and eat healthy, but also for reminding me that everything is best in moderation.

Thank you for taking tons of pictures of our ridiculous escapades.

Thanks for loaning me your suitcase (Overpackers Anonymous!) and for letting me try on 30 different outfits for you every time I pack for a weekend getaway.   (Especially my sister's wedding...)

Thanks for always being so excited to catch up and swap stories.

Thanks for sending me cute puppy pictures at work in emails.

Thank you for letting me make a bunch of noise in our kitchen at 5:50 a.m. while you are NOT getting ready for work yet.

Thanks for storming the pumpkin village with me despite the ridiculous amounts of strollers and screaming children that surrounded us on that ominous shuttle ride.

Thank you for being such a good friend, partner-in-crime, coach, and role-model.
Some friends make your day better, some make your life better.  Thanks for being the kind of friend who does both.  Thank you for making our apartment such a happy one.  And tonight, thanks for the two HUGE Neiman Marcus cookies that were sitting on my bedside table.

Cheers to you, girly!  I know we have SO much fun in store.
XOXO
